404 How To Remove The Resistance

Mar 15, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

You’ve been making a list of things that you sense, hear, feel, and experience that are resistance points to what you want to Do, Be and Have.

Today I want you to take the items on that list and give each one some thought.

What I like to do is breathe into a resistance point and get curious about it in a neutral way and do some discovery about where it came from.

When you can discover where it’s from, and what it’s about, you can intelligently and respectfully engage with yourself and getting rid of that and shifting it.

Today’s exercise is is a big one.

It’s one that I engage with right away when I come up upon a resistance point.

I’m giving you a tool that you can use on the fly, when you discover something that you’re thinking about or feeling that is a resistance point for you, that is causing you to spend emotional and spiritual time thinking about what you don’t want instead of what you do want

Go through each thing.

Pick two or three things, or even pick one thing you wrote down so far and spend some time investigating it.

Find out where, why, and how.

Does it work for you still?

Is it true?

Is the worry still alive and active?

Is it still pertinent now?

If it is, then we can go in deep on that and figure out how to shift it.

We can discover how to satisfy what you need to take away the fear that’s underneath it.

If it’s outdated, you can laugh.

You can say, “Wow. I remember when that was pertinent. I remember when that was important and now it’s not anymore. I can just let that one go.”

Go in.

Take a look around in your resistance and see if it is still a hot point.

See if it’s outdated.

See if it’s justifiable.

See if it’s time to just let it go.

Find the source of each one of the resistance points is,
where it resides.

The deepest point is fear, fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of being stranded.

It’s a fear.

But for today, we’re just dealing with all the different characters that show up to create resistance.

When you leave these prevalent, when you leave them right where they are, you end up spending more time during the day thinking about what you don’t want and what you do want.

The purpose of this exercise is to unearth this and shift the amount of time that you’re spending aiming at the wrong targets.

Have a beautiful day.
