289 You Aren’t Careful Enough

What do you expose yourself to mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically?

Do you value the energy around you and what you put yourself in proximity to?

Do you value yourself enough to be mindful about the positions that you put yourself in?

If you think about a small child, if you were the caretaker of a small child, you would be making sure that they are in the best environment for their safety and their happiness.

Do you do that for yourself?

Trevor Blake calls this Mentality Control and says, do not  watch the news, don’t expose yourself to gossip, don’t spend your time around anything that makes your energy and your vibration less than optimal.”

That your life depends on it.

Abraham Hicks talks about being “Wobbly”, and that sometimes you feel wobbly if you are around, for example, a family member that doesn’t believe in what you’re doing.

You can feel that you are feeling insecure, causing your stability to be wobbly.

While both of these people, talk about how you could be amongst these alternative ideas or this contrast without a problem if you’re solid in your states, if you’re solid in your knowing.

But why would you do that?

Why expose yourself needlessly to things that aren’t going in the direction you want to be going in?

But some people say, “Well, I’ve got to know what’s going on!  I’ve got to pay attention to the news.”

But do you?

Do you have to pay attention to things you don’t want that aren’t aligned with you that you’re not interested in, that take your energy in a different direction for periods of time?

Then it takes you an amount of time to get it back in balance.

Do you have time and energy to allow something to distract you and distract your emotional vibration, your communication with the creative, collaborative, responsive universe?

These are questions you get to ask yourself.

Then you decide.

What you are willing to expose yourself to today, even for a few minutes.

How long does it take you to recover?

In those ten, 15, or 30 minutes that you’re gazing at these things you don’t want that aren’t pleasing to you, just so that you know them, what signals are you sending off to the universe to create during that time?

How pure is your signal and how are you contributing to the purity of that signal?

Therin is the food for thought today.
