402 How To See Why You Are Stuck
This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.
I’m going to take you through a couple of days of exercise that will help you shift the way that you allow yourself to think about and talk about your Vision.
Today. I want you to do some noticing.
Yesterday and today I included a diagram that’s in your email.
It suggests the ways of being you would embody if you were shooting right at the target of your vision…confident, creative, or open.
There’s also an example of aiming at the things away from your target, like your doubts, your past stories, and history.
Today. spend some time thinking about your Vision.
At one of the last workshops, I had you magnify your Vision, making it bigger, so big that it’s exciting and scary.
As you think about this big vision that is both of those things, what ideas and thoughts are coming up in your mind?
Think about the percentage of time you spend thinking about how it’s going to work and succeed and the time you’re spending thinking of all the ways you could fail or it wouldn’t work or all the time you are fretting or nervous.
Spend time today coming up with a number that you can share with me in an email that represents the percentage of the time your thought about your vision is positive and in the momentum of taking you to the vision and what percentage of your time you are aiming away from your vision.
When you’re thinking about the things that aren’t going to take you there, they are attracting.
If you’ve been in the same spot for a long time, I want you to take a look at your thinking and if it’s conducive to attracting the things that will help you to succeed.
I’ll be able to tell if you did this assignment because I’ll get an email from you with your percentages telling me how much you aim at or away from your Vision.
Have a beautiful day and enjoy this exercise because it’s through doing something like this, that you get to see where you are and be prepared for tomorrow’s exercise.
This exercise is evergreen.
You can use it for the rest of your life.
It’s gonna support you, so do your homework.
