459 How To Productively Play

Jun 7, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

How productive can you get with your time?

Warren Buffett has 2400 streams of income and he is a relaxed, grounded individual.

How does he do it?

He has the same amount of time that you and I have every day.

We have been engaging this week on how you take downtime and how a great pure segment of downtime affects the following work time.

Today I want you to think about having speed and efficiency in every aspect of your life.

Speed in your downtime could be that you get right into the purity of unplugging and creating instead of having 45 minutes where you are decompressing with five minutes of pure freedom, emotionally, spiritually, mentally, and physically.

I’m not discrediting if it takes you 45 minutes and you get five that are pure, that’s beautiful.

But how would it be if it took you only five minutes to get into the feeling and the basking?

As you go into the weekend, take the whole weekend and bask in your downtime.

What can you do like a child does, to plan a spontaneous or super exciting weekend where you are relaxing, investigating, going to a festival, having downtime with friends, having a beautiful bath, or perhaps taking a walk on the beach?

The goal is for you to become exceptional, efficient, and productive when working so your energy, emotions, words, thoughts, and actions are all moving you toward your Vision target, and when you are in downtime, you are unhooking and playing, you are giving yourself time to have carefree, stress-free opportunities to just BE.

You are efficient and productive when you are not working and you are efficient and productive when you are.

Ah, that’s the recipe for a beautiful life.

Have a wonderful weekend as soon as it happens.

If you are out of sync with Monday through Friday in this coaching, as soon as you get to your next Friday, take this call to action and play there.

Is a local festival that you can go to?

Are there things you can look into that you haven’t done before?

Is there a volunteer opportunity that makes you feel wonderful, or you’re not in charge?

You pick and enjoy it, then send me an email and tell me what resulted from your weekend.

Let me know how it affected the way you came back to work on Monday.

When I was a teacher, I had the summer off.

I set up everything so on the last day, I left on my bicycle.

I took everything home ahead of time.

I did everything I needed to the day before, the night before, so I could begin my summer vacation by riding my bike home after the last moment I was responsible for working.

My dad taught me this.

We would go camping the day after he stopped working for the summer.

He was a technical college teacher.

We would camp right up to the night before he went back to work as well.

I know a lot of adults who start planning to go back to work, wrecking their whole Sunday because they’re going to work on Monday.

How quickly can you recover and how quickly can you get back to what you were doing?

I’m going to talk more about this another day.

Have a beautiful day.
