This morning, I’m sitting in my pajamas watching some nuthatches being fed by their parents, some baby nuthatches in some pine trees right behind what used to be a musty, stinky shed.

This morning, I woke up in what used to be that musty, stinky shed on my box spring mattress, looking at a beautiful reclaimed barn wood ceiling, out two big windows through what used to be the back of the shed, to see the trunks of a white pine couple that’s living there.

I’m sitting on a deck that wasn’t even an idea in my mind a year ago, watching these birds.

Yesterday, I moved the items I had for a bedroom, staged in the SpiritRiver classroom where I’ll be teaching sessions, having art studio sessions, and doing some cooking for people who are there.

How did this all happen?

In 2008, I bought this property.

I bought it because I loved it and felt purpose here.

I could feel there was something important for me here.

I didn’t have a lot of money at that time.

I was recently divorced making payments on my house myself.

I had my teacher’s salary.

After I purchased it, my Mom said it was the stupidest thing I ever did.

Later, she apologized.

I calculated how much money I had, took a risk, and I purchased this property.

I never saw it the way it actually looks in pictures.

It looked a certain way, but I didn’t see it that way.

I saw it as a beautiful place.

Today it’s even better than I envisioned, minus the carpenter ants.

This week, I’m going to talk with you about the different elements in Vision.

It may be even stretching to two weeks.

I’m going to talk about the elements of putting together a Vision that has nothing to do necessarily with reality.

It has to do with what you want.

It has to do with a dream.

It’s inspired and magnetic.
