485 Do You Prioritize Your Tasks?
This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.
I’m here with another tool, set of tools or steps that you can take to support you in creating an incredible calendar that’s valuable to you, that sets you free in many ways.
Today I’m talking about how to Prioritize And Delegate.
The first thing I want you to do is to to list your tasks in order of importance and urgency.
We did that a little bit in an earlier step, but the night before your next day, look at what gets to happen the next day.
On Sunday night, do the same thing, for the entire week, look what has to happen and by when.
Set up a list of things in order of their importance and urgency.
Delegate or postpone the things that are of a lower priority so you can focus on what matters.
When you set out to organize your upcoming week, this is a fantastic thing to do.
It helps you determine what you want to do each day so the declaration of what you will create in your vision for the week, happens.
Review and adjust your priorities regularly throughout the week so you stay aligned with what you are shooting for.
Things happen as you know, as you go along.
Sometimes you get a new direction and can cut away something that you thought was important, realizing that it no longer is.
Other times you may realize something you thought was less important is essential and you can move it around on that list.
So today’s coaching is about how to prioritize and delegate.
How can you put most of your focus on what you want?
It is reminiscent of when you look at your vision and target and the things that you aim at throughout the week or throughout the quarter, making sure that they are aiming right at the target. not at your fears.
In my schedule, I let go of low-priority tasks.
I completely let them go because they don’t contribute on a high enough level.
The things that are a priority, if I get those completed, if those fill in and become, those carry the day, those hold more weight, and influence in the results I get to experience that week.
So list your tasks in order of their importance and urgency.
Delegate or postpone the lower priority tasks, focusing on what really matters and gets you results.
Allow yourself to review and make adjustments as you go throughout the week.
When you do that, when you add that to your calendar, you have a fluid calendar that is alive and working for you.
Have a beautiful day.
