486 How To Keep Adjusting
This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.
Yesterday’s steps or tools for creating a great calendar were prioritizing and delegating so you can focus on the Vision, on the target that you want.
Today’s step sounds similar, but it’s different.
The step today is integrating Reflection And Adjustment, to incorporate regular check-ins, to reflect on the progress you are making, and make any adjustments you need to make.
Along with that, assess what’s working, what’s not working, what ways of being are contributing to the direction you’re happily going, and which ways of being are you interested in shifting.
That’s part of the assessment of what’s working and what’s not.
How can you improve?
By incorporating the ways of being that need to be present for your success.
And then as you’re reflecting and adjusting, allow for flexibility
in these reviews to accommodate changes in your priorities or opportunities that arise.
Every morning you are meditating.
Every morning you are going into the future, into the center of your Vision. your Target.
As you do that, balance work time with non-work time.
You can get opportunities that shift you.
As you reflect on your progress, you can get incredible opportunities for adjustment or course correction.
That is an important part of the creative process.
When you set out to do something, when you make a strong declaration, you don’t know how it’s going to happen.
If you already need to know how it will happen, usually you are removing possibilities that show up along the way.
Magical serendipity.
Today’s coaching is about that fluid process in which you are creating, and then reflecting as you are creating so that you can make adjustments.
And that is all.
Okay, do you know the difference between yesterday’s coaching and today’s?
Yesterday’s is about listing out your tasks, what is the most important, dropping away things that aren’t urgent, important or that are creating busy work not taking you to the Vision you want.
Today is about looking at the whole and assessing how it’s working.
What are you doing well?
What are you succeeding at?
How could you continue to escalate your success or results?
What does this new knowledge or hunch do to the course that you’re on?
How can you adjust that trajectory to continue moving forward with the new information that you’ve gotten?
Isn’t creating a schedule interesting?
There are so many different facets to making one that’s beautiful for you.
Today is about reflecting and giving yourself the space to adjust and keep moving forward.
Have a beautiful day.
