491 Are You On Board?

Jul 25, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

Anything that you feel resistance towards is going to create issues with your integrity.

That’s why I have you look immediately when you create something new to see if you are fully aligned with it.

It would be rare if you were fully aligned with it.

Why?

You haven’t done it yet.

If you’re shooting big in your Vision, you’re pushing the boundaries of what you’ve done before, so things come up naturally like resistance in the form of things that get in the way.

When I looked at a completely new calendar a couple of years ago, I liked how it looked.

But when I went to think about how I would operate with it, I didn’t take it seriously.

It didn’t seem possible.

I got to deal with the feelings around that so I wouldn’t completely ignore the new calendar and would diligently work to keep integrity with it.

But, like I said yesterday, it took me two full years to get to the point where it is easy to honor.

I’ve built in flexibility here and there because I like variety.

Things come up, and when I don’t have flexibility, my emotions kick in.

I could waste time feeling taken advantage of, or like my schedule’s not honored, or feeling guilty that I’m not in integrity with something that I chose.

I don’t want you to brush too quickly over this step because it’s important.

This is a great opportunity to make tweaks, whether inside, in your operating system, or in the schedule you’ve created.

This is such an important aspect of how a day feels.

It’s important and I want to give you time to reflect on it.

Take a look at what you have created.

Breathe into it.

When I say that, I mean breathe air in.

Breathe it all the way in.

Breathe it out.

Look at the calendar.

Think.

Let yourself feel whatever you feel while looking at the calendar/schedule.

Most of the time, people ignore inner voices and hunches, but a lot is being communicated with you.

When I go to make an appointment with somebody and I’m not fully interested in it, my being does not commit.

If I’m flippant and I’m not checking myself, I may go ahead and put it on the calendar, or I may say yes to it and not put it in the calendar and then miss it or mess it up.

I like to allow myself to look over what I’ve just done to see if I can commit to it, knowing that if it’s different from what I did before, there could be challenges and setbacks.

I understand that as part of the journey, but I want to make sure I’m on board.

If I’m not.

If you’re not, it’s time to make adjustments.

Some people who are in a group I am in that talk about the five and four-hour workday, but when they’ve got a problem and they say what their schedule looks like, they are not following it.

They are way out of balance.

They may be working 16 hours a day.

If you know that you can’t stick with a five-hour workday, start with a six.

Start with something that you can commit to and work towards be focused on.

You can continue to have a Vision for a four or three-hour workday for the future.

What can you try on now for size?

It’s more important to keep integrity with yourself than to put a calendar/schedule there knowing it’s not feasible at this point.

If you breach your integrity, there are a lot of prices to pay.

So do some final adjusting, and the next time we get together, whether it’s in Friday Live With Anne, pod coaching, or at the end of a workshop, bring this with you so that I can support you.

You are creating a template that can change your life.

It’s changed mine.

Have a beautiful day.
