519 How To Open Through Creative Play

Sep 26, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

I started to get sheepish, talking about how delving into your creativity could take you into a side hustle, another business, or perhaps even your next chapter.

I started thinking about this actor with the last name of Tucci.

He was featured on the Williams Sonoma catalog this month.

He has a line of cookware, is on cooking shows, and was an actor for most of his life.

He’s an older man now, and what’s interesting to me is he has obviously had a passion for cooking his whole life,

Now as he is entering another chapter in his life, instead of retiring, he’s finally doing something that he has loved forever, and it is giving him another whole chapter.

The reason I felt sheepish and uncomfortable about bringing it up is that I feel like in our society, creativity is often trivialized, that play, that deep joy that you can have from honoring who you really are authentically.

When I offer the retreats, the Otiwote retreats, one of the main things we do there is go through a pathway that reconnects you with your effervescence, your joy, who you really, truly are (as if all those words aren’t redundant).

How would it feel for you, to have efforted and worked so hard for so many years, trying to prove yourself or do something to be successful, and then stumble back into your authentic creativity to discover ease, flow, and abundance?

This isn’t to be taken lightly.

So I want to apologize for being less focused on the importance of that topic, thus emphasizing it again today.

Don’t take this delving back into creativity lightly.

It’s a journey back to self.

It’s the most important thing that I coach you on.

It’s the most important thing I have explored throughout my lifetime.

“Who are you truly?”

“What is at the core of your essence?”

“If you could be doing anything, what would unlock and unleash your joy, pure creativity, and zest for life?”

You are a perpetual youthfulness as I take you into the creative processes of play.

Keep your ears, eyes, and senses open for your authenticity.

When you hit it, you’ll know because you will feel delightfully happy, like a child.

Have a beautiful day.
