534 Do You Play When You Need A Hunch?

Oct 22, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

When I am looking to tap into the flow of creativity and collaboration for hunches and opportunities to tweak something, I find it playing.

Sometimes it’s a hike, sometimes it’s a run in the woods, sometimes it’s a paddle, and sometimes it’s a collaboration with other people who are fun and high in their energy.

Why is this so smart?

Because play stimulates and enhances creativity and cognitive function.

It kicks up imagination.

It encourages children and adults to use their creativity, imagination, and resourcefulness, which can all lead to improved problem solving abilities and innovative thinking.

On top of that, when you are in play, you are connected to that quantum energy flow hunches come from.

I get my best whiffs of the next idea when I am super happy and engaged in play.

When you are happy and playing, you remember things, don’t you?

I can remember things clear as a bell from when I am engaged in joy with other people.

It helps your brain function, improves your memory, positively affects your cognitive flexibility and overall brain health by keeping your mind active and engaged.

Get out and play.

See what happens when you are struggling with problem or you don’t know what to do next.

Go play.

When I am working on an idea and I know something is close, but I’m not sure what it is, I go play.

When I’m drawing, my drawing will tell me there is something emerging in a segment.

Until that segment reveals itself, I can’t move forward.

I run out to play.

And in that play, I get an easy answer to what is supposed to be in that spot.

Play and see how it shifts your ability to problem solve, be creative, be firing on all cylinders, and be highly engaged.

Have a beautiful day.
