564 How To Be Your Sharpest

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

It seems like almost daily, I am seeing something about how unhealthy sugar is for your body.

Now, you know, we have the reticular activating system within our brain that matches us to the things we think about.

I have been thinking about it as a baker’s granddaughter, who adored her grandfather, I have a story.

I have pride in my ability to bake.

My mom has said more than once, “Your grandpa would be proud.”

Oh, my gosh, that is such a compliment.

I have perfected a good many of his recipes without his physical help, but I’m sure I have received his spiritual help in mastering incredible streusel for the top of a kuchen and bread.

I’m known as the baker.

You know, once you get known for something, sometimes it becomes confining.

Over the years, I have worked hard to allow myself to be the incredible, healthy salad maker, the person who makes yummy salads.

Down deep, though, some structures are sending out clinging vines around my ankles that miss my grandpa and find baking, especially breads and German desserts, particularly to be satisfying in a time when I feel like he’s so present in the room, in the kitchen.

I do understand that he’s always with me, but I have a particular feeling of contentment and satisfaction when I’ve baked something incredible.

As I discover more and more how oxidative sugar is, knowing that I have some level of longevity in my family, and that I constantly am feeling like I’m just getting started on the thing I came here for, I want to have a fresh brain and a body that can move and play.

At the point of this audio, I am 60.

I would like to keep running at least another 10 years.

When I’ve done something like move my parents into a new apartment, I’m a little achy the next day.

I’m going to be digging in to seeing what I can do with my the way that I eat, I fuel myself, and operate, to continue to make sure I’m doing the best thing to allow my being to be on fire, you know, at the flashpoint, so I can be perceptive instead of napping during the day or getting tired and lazy, with brain fog.

Some musings for today for you about being a being that wants to be highly efficient and turned on and tapped in.

I know that you guys who are here in the coaching want more in your life.

What are you willing to do to tune your frequency and reap the benefits of being as sharp as possible, so you can be the highest level contributor you came to be?
