382 Should You Retreat From Your Treats?
This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.
I’m talking with you over the next, I don’t know, ten sessions about ways that you treat yourself, and the treat becomes more than a treat.
It becomes an indulgence.
And pretty soon it is keeping you from getting to your vision as fast as you would like to get there, or it could derail you.
Today’s topic is very familiar to me that I’m working on diligently, and it’s how you treat yourself with food and with your behaviors.
For example, maybe you treat yourself to relaxation instead of doing your workout, or you treat yourself to foods that are going to keep you from the vitality you need or keep you from your ideal weight, where you would look great when you present.
What behaviors and treats in the physical world are leading to you not getting to your vision as quickly?
If I take my example the other day of being several pounds heavier than I wished I would be, what are the different ways that this takes its toll on me?
Well, I don’t feel as great when I’m in my clothing.
I don’t fit my clothing as well.
When I don’t fit my clothing as well or I have extra pounds, I don’t feel as great when I’m presenting.
I don’t have the energy and vitality that I typically do when I don’t have extra weight.
If I’m not eating well during the day, I can end up tired in the afternoon.
I can waste quite a few hours being sleepy and having my brain not operate on the highest level.
So when you look at your day and your life and how you treat yourself, is it conducive to where you’re going?
I spend time taking you into your future.
We look at your vision and then we look at life beyond that vision where you’ve created the things that you want to create.
How are you being?
What do you look like?
What characteristics are you exemplifying there?
When I look into my future, I’m running.
When I’m presenting, I’m in great shape.
I have a lot of vitality and energy.
If you do that.
If you look into your future and you see yourself there, you can see what type of physical prowess you have.
Are the treats you’re giving yourself now leading you in the direction of that, or are they keeping you from it?
Today’s audit is about how you treat yourself by indulging in things that may be treats from your past that are keeping you from the future that you want.
They could be couch time.
A lot of adults stop playing and exercising when they get older because they have the right to sit.
That sitting takes its toll on their muscles, their bodies, their vitality, their stature, and their posture so that when they are presenting, they don’t look that professional.
Do you look right now like the type of person you want to follow?
Do you carry yourself in your profession like someone who other people would find to be a mentor?
Okay, this can sound superficial.
You may say, “Well, that’s just how I look.”
Years ago, when I was in a network marketing company, all the founders were in incredible physical condition.
They had vitality through the roof.
I knew I was with the right company because these people had it going on across the board.
They were great thinkers and they were keeping themselves in peak physical condition.
It could seem superficial, but it’s part of the whole package that you are.
Are you taking care of yourself…mind, body, spirit, and emotions?
Have a beautiful day.
