384 This Could Be Why You Aren’t Focused

All of these things we do that are not in balance, create too much in one area, too little in another, and you lose the balance.

I’ve been talking with you for the last few days about treats and indulgences.

It’s just a different way to look at how you are behaving, and conducting yourself.

There are these three things that I like to talk about within this community that will take you to your fullest potential in your business and your life.

It’s having a powerful vision, having a path or strategy to get to that vision, and having the ways of being, the characteristics, and the way that you act and behave, in alignment with getting you to that vision.

Those actions are dictated by your rules, your structures, your beliefs, and the embedded stories that you have created throughout your life.

Most of them start when you’re quite young and then they repeat themselves.

When you spend too much time treating yourself, and sometimes you don’t even think of these things as treats, but they are, they’re taking breaks from the things that you know you should be doing that will carry you forward.

This can lead to a lack of focus on your priorities because these side things are taking so much attention.

Constantly seeking immediate gratification can divert your attention away from the important long-term vision that you have.

I find many clients lately who are engaging in so many programs and so many opportunities because there are so many people sharing opportunities and they don’t want to miss out that they’re actually, they’re treating themselves to lots of courses, classes, content and if you don’t have a balance there, it’s distracting them from trusting themselves and moving forward.

Yes, me too.

I have at different times in my life, in my desire to strive for the next level, looking outside of myself.

We’re trained to do that when we go to school.

We’re trained that we need to learn from someone else to become more educated.

In many ways we do.

We learn from things outside of ourselves, but we also have an innate knowing and knowledge.

Then we’re taught to continue going to school and getting degrees, getting education.

Sometimes that can make you feel like stepping up, you have to look outside of yourself.
