494 Are You Your Biggest Cheerleader?

Jul 31, 2024 | Uncategorized

This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.

Wouldn’t it be lovely if that somewhat silent, often hard to hear, but felt voice inside of you was your biggest cheerleader?

As we talk about languaging that will bring your Vision faster and get you in alignment, think about the most dominant dialogue you hear in your life, and that’s from your inner voice.

If your inner voice is a skeptic, a devil’s advocate, tentative, nervous, untrustworthy, or trying to protect you from being too optimistic and joyful about what’s possible, I’m asking you today to shift that that inner voice to be the voice of your biggest cheerleader.

When you breathe in, as you say, think about, or imagine your Vision, what feelings do you experience?

Are you experiencing excitement and joy?

Think about the way a child prepares themselves for what they are creating, for what’s in their mind.

Think about how an adult who is being responsible and considering all the possibilities responds to something amazing.

There’s quite a difference.

I’m asking you to call on your inner child, that whimsical, effervescent, unstoppable part of yourself that is available, that perhaps you’ve tucked away because you are busy being analytical, thoughtful, and socially responsible.

I don’t want there to be anything socially responsible about you in your Vision.

The people who create on the highest levels are dreamers.

Get back into your dreamer and when you hear the skeptic or the devil’s advocate, figure out something you can say that is practically the opposite of that tentativeness.

If you were on the sideline cheering for your favorite little girl or boy, which could be you, what would you be saying when they attempted something challenging?

How could your inner dialogue be as powerfully positive as you cheering for some little being who’s playing in their first baseball game or has an incredible idea about something they want to create and they’re making it happen on paper?

What would it look like today to step back into being the whimsical, creative, trusting child you came as so you can reignite the momentum and joy of creating?

Have a beautiful day.
