502 How To Speed Up
This is Anne with your Coaching On The Go.
There is a strategy for Momentum.
You ask for something.
Once you release your resistance to it, liken yourself to it, and align with it, it becomes available.
On the way to it being available, you hit opportunities to increase or minimize it.
I’ve had so many things I asked for coming to me that I didn’t know what to do and started slowing down the momentum because I got scared or overwhelmed.
This year in August, there are a lot of dates that are abundance dates because last week was 8/8/2024, the Lion’s Gate Portal, I opened myself to the possibility.
I had never experienced it before.
I had never heard of it before.
Nonetheless, I opened myself to it to see what might happen.
On that day, so many things were coming towards me. I decided to go with all of them, figuring out what it took to ride the wave of that momentum.
It made me think about cycling.
I, earlier in my life, was a really tenacious cyclist.
I trained.
I rode about 4,000 miles a summer.
When I rode on my own, I was hitting the headwinds and it was hard.
It was a great opportunity for building.
When I rode with one of my friends, who couldn’t keep up with me, she rode right behind me, just off to the side.
It’s called riding in the draft, catching the draft.
When in the draft of a group, a person, or a peloton, you can save up to 40% of your energy.
It’s that much easier.
Today, I want to liken riding the wave of momentum and staying in it, taking advantage of a draft and cycling, to staying in the Momentum in life.
When you ride in a pace line, everybody takes their turn at the front, where the wind resistance is the greatest and it’s the most exhausting.
People can only stay in the front for a short period,
You can stay up there too long and then when you move to the side to drift back, the pack can go past you so fast you can’t get on the back of the peloton, and it takes off without you.
You have to save a little energy so you can pick up speed again
and get onto the back.
Then on the way towards the front again, you save energy, so you’re catching your breath.
You are getting a rest as you work up from back to front.
I am talking about this today because quite a few people I see let go and they lose their momentum.
And there’s a price to be paid for that.
When you go to engage in your creation, take time to focus on staying in the draft, staying in the sweet spot, not dropping off.
Once you drop off, it is difficult to get back in.
It takes a lot of extra effort.
This month, I’m spending time staying in the momentum,
That’s what I want for you as well.
Get up in the morning, and see yourself in the mirror.
Spend time adoring yourself, asking yourself what would make you happy today.
Follow your intuition.
Follow the hunches.
Take time to meditate in the morning and the evening, stopping momentum so that you get a fresh start in the morning, and don’t drag yesterday into today.
At the end of the day, stop your momentum again so you can have a beautiful sleep.
Throughout the day, stay focused on your Vision.
If you feel yourself getting tired, take a nap.
Make sure that you’re pacing yourself so you have blocks of work time and blocks of free time, so you can get the hunches.
If you find yourself fearful, questioning, or skeptical, take any of the tools and bring yourself back to what you want to be thinking about.
Thoughts are things.
Earl Nightingale has an audio called The Strangest Secret.
It’s been around for a long time.
The strangest secret is that you get what you think about most of the time.
So to keep your momentum moving, make sure you are thinking about beautiful things.
My goal for you is that you have the magnificence of your childhood power to create back in your life here today.
I’m spending most of my days lately getting myself back to the point where I wake up happy and excited.
I wake up with a level of playfulness, curiosity, and excitement about the day because I don’t know what’s coming, and I’m excited about it.
The techniques I give you are to help you get back that childhood whimsy so you are happy and that happiness can lead you and guide you to the next step and the next, that takes you into your Vision.
Have a beautiful day.
