Hey, this is Anne with your Coaching on the Go.

Talking some more about overwhelm this week.

And having so many things to do that it’s hard to figure out what to do next.

So just remember that when you’re in that feeling of overwhelmed, your reality is distorted.

So don’t forget to breathe, take deep breaths because oxygen pulls away stress.

You need oxygen.

Remember that overwhelm again is just a feeling.

So when you speak about it, if you feel it and you’re compelled to talk about it, just say.

I’m feeling overwhelmed because feelings can come and go and we are not our feelings.

Just think about what the next thing is for you to do that helps you take your power back.

What is the next small thing that you can do?

Because, yes, you can’t do everything at once.

And chances are you’re feeling overwhelmed because you have a lot of options and sometimes having so many options stifles.

Remember that you don’t need to know everything to move forward.

You can just pick the next thing and then additional things reveal themselves once you do that.

When you set out on a journey, you don’t know everything you’re going to face on that journey until you get to it sometimes.

Also, keep in mind that if you do nothing, you’re just going to stay in that feeling of overwhelm and that’s uncomfortable.

So as uncomfortable as you are overwhelmed, doing nothing, a.

And taking no action is going to keep you right where you’re most uncomfortable.

And remember that this is a distorted emotion, so nothing is usually as bad or as big as you think it is.

And then understand that things can change quickly, that you can shift your momentum quickly by taking that next step.

And if you’re having a hard time taking that next step, you can always default to one of our strongest.

I don’t want to call it a pharmaceutical because it’s pharmaceutical-free.

But it’s one of my biggest go-to is stepping into appreciation.

If you are in a vibration or a momentum that is stifling, one of the greatest quickest ways to change.

That is to look for something simple that you can appreciate at the moment.

And the other thing I’ll always go to is changing your state.

And a state-changing activity would be putting on some incredible music and dancing for one song.

Deciding that you’re going to do this for one more minute, this overwhelm feeling, and you’re going to zap it by doing something.

Put your jacket on, head out for a walk, or put on your sunglasses and head out for a walk.

Those are things that can quickly change your state.

So if you are feeling overwhelmed, those are some strategies for you.

Have a beautiful day.
