51 Playfully Open to Possibility
So what I like to do is if I’m asking or praying or meditating or thinking on something that really strikes me, that’s something that I want. I want to feel. I want to have. I want to be. I want to do. Whereas years ago, my first indication would be I can’t because… I can’t do that because… I can’t afford that, I don’t have time for that. Now what I do, if I sense and feel that that particular thing is exciting to my spirit, and it looks to me like that is one of the next things that I want to do, that I get to do, I just say, “Give me eyes to see it and help me have eyes to see it, and help me have ears to hear it, and help me to be perceptive and playful about how this will show up or can show up or gets to show up for me.” “I would love to do this,” or…
I want to expand my property. Oh, it feels so good to think about expanding the SpiritRiver spiritual center property, to steward more land, to open more land, to be experienced for people as they connect with their authenticity, for them to feel the presence of creation. I would love that. Help me have the eyes to see, the ears to hear, the being to perceive, the playfulness to be open to the possibilities of how that’s coming to me. Because it’s such a strong, strong feeling, I know that it’s meant for me. Help me have eyes to see it today. Help me to enjoy the feeling of it and help me to be open to how it will show up for me. I’m so excited to see how that is going to show up for me.
So that’s something that I do. I talk about it, I think about it in ways that will delight me. So that’s your coaching for today, practice that. Your assignment is to practice that with something that you either feel that comes up that excites you, like a possibility or a thing that you’d like to have, maybe a car, maybe an opportunity, maybe something you want to do, it excites your spirit. Then talk around allowing your spirit to pursue it. What will happen if you don’t limit yourself? What will happen if you stay open? And today, if you’d like to communicate with me, just push reply in the email and send me back what you’re thinking.
